VACANCY – Leadership Role- Primary Classes 3MU
Raphael House Rudolf Steiner School invites applications from experienced and collaborative educators to join our School Leadership Team.
Located in the western hills of Lower Hutt, Raphael House is a state-integrated Rudolf Steiner Area School offering education from Class 1 to Year 13. Our holistic approach nurtures academic learning alongside creativity, wellbeing and a strong sense of belonging, grounded in both Steiner pedagogy and the New Zealand Curriculum.
This leadership role includes:
- Oversight of our Primary School (Classes 1–7) ( State schooling Year 2-8)
- Contribution to whole-school leadership
- Working alongside our SENCO to support inclusive practice
- Supporting pastoral and learning support approaches
The successful applicant will work closely with teachers to strengthen planning, differentiation and student wellbeing, while maintaining a developmental whole-school perspective.
A strong advantage will be given to applicants who:
- Have experience in leading within a Steiner school setting
- Have a primary teaching background
- Have a keen interest in pastoral care
- Have experience or interest in learning support / inclusive education
We are seeking a leader who is relational, thoughtful and committed to supporting both students and staff, and who is keen to work within a Steiner educational setting.
